The news

New Delhi/Hyderabad, 14 October. An Indian Express investigation reports that in May 2026 Bharat Dynamics Ltd (BDL), the Hyderabad defence PSU, issued a “single tender” — one invited vendor — citing “urgency” to Aindri Defence Advisory Pvt Ltd for 300 optical sights for anti-tank guided missiles. Aindri has cleared technical evaluation and quoted ₹56.8 crore; financial evaluation is under way (GeM data). Aindri was incorporated in May 2024 by Siddharth Mishra, BDL’s CMD from March 2019 to March 2023, and his wife Shambhavi, 50:50; Mishra exited in January 2025 on becoming Member (Technical), NCLT Kolkata, and Shambhavi now holds 95 per cent. FY25 filings show revenue of ₹44.43 lakh, no plant; its Hyderabad office was found locked. The tender says urgency was placed on record but gives no reasons. Mishra, Shambhavi, Aindri and BDL did not respond.
